Hi! I have run into the limits of my knowledge here:
I am using script to position and scale and rotate a complex fractal like graphic as a navigation. Both position and scale are very smooth, work fine. But: the ROTATION propoerty seems to us only whole numbers!!!! No decimals. So when scaled up, rotating it becomes extrememly jumpy on the edges! Is there a smoother way to rotate then setProperty with degrees? Anyone?

this is kinda wild, but you might as well try it. I have no clue if it works:
put your graphic in a movie clip. in that movie clip, make a 1000-(or whatever) frame keyframe, add a duplicate keyframe at pos. 1001, and tween it. In symbol property, set it the rotation to CW, 1 turn.
Now: instead of rotating that sucker by setting _rotation, just have it gotoAndStop() to the appropriate number.
does that work?

Do you have an example online to show exactly what it's doing?

Thanks! Haha.. well have heaps of keyframes -- might work nice trick...

this is only skeleton for navigation behaviour, no graphics are solved yet:)

Sorry forgot to write, that to see 'jumpy' symptom, go to: f.e. industri / kemisk industri / kemisk industri

Cool... I like that... good to see something a little different here for a change!
