Thank God for this settlement with AOL and Microsoft...
Why. because it keeps Internet Explorer in AOL, this means a beutiful step for the demise of Nutscrape.

no way. i don't hate netscape since they started using mozilla as their base (can it still be called a browser or just a skin?) however, due to the fact that this very company was once behind netscape 4 - the browser that makes me waste most of the time writing html for complicated pages - i just don't want to know anything about them.
want an alternative - use mozilla!!!

the work arounds for netscape are more trouble than they're worth... over 95% of the world uses IE.

back then there was a reason to hate netscape. it rendered fonts wrong. pixels were quirky. the "invention" of layer. etc.
right now there is actually no point. the engine is mozilla's and they are just steps behind their mother.
i, personally, like ie and the latest mozilla versions due to their dhtml support.
