First sorry my question isnt about graphic design :/
MY QUESTION:
I want to start learning and playing electric guitar, I have a budget of 600$ I need everything (guitar, suitcase, strings, guit pic, amp, pedals?) I want to make heavy metal noises, very dirty like slipknot or mudvayne for exemple) Iam thinking of buying an Ibanez but iam not sure ... i only have 600$ to spend for everything... WHATS YOUR SUGGESTIONS ? wich guit and amp should i buy ? Note I dont want to buy a 100Watt amp, only a small one, I'll play with headphone most of the timethanks in advance for the help :)

Hi StyleJunky, whats a line 6 guitar pod ?

try ebay, might be your best bet with a $600 budget

First things first: If you are just going to start learning guitar, I'd reccomend an interest in it beyond "making noises like Slipknot."
To each their own, but there's so much more than can be enjoyed playing guitar than playing crap like that. It's just a power chord (a type of guitar note/chord) and alot of distortion) Basic stuff. Not very listenable, not very good for just playing for people.
But, like I said, to each their own.
Two packages found on http://www.musiciansfriend.com (which seems to always have good prices on everything, better than Guitar Center or the same) would be a Squier Strat package http://www.musiciansfriend.com/s…
and a Epiphone Special Package
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/s…These two guitars are different, they are cheaper brands of both Fender and Gibson, respectively. Squier is the cheaper version of various Fenders, and Epiphone of Gibson.
But starting out playing guitar, you won't need much. It's pointless to get a ton of stuff until you really know what you're doing as far as playing goes.
I've been playing for 10 years, started with an electric (a Squier Strat no less) got an Epiphone electric acoustic in 1995 and I'm about to buy the nicest guitar I've had yet, an Epiphone Casino that goes for about $650, it's the same guitar played by John Lennon, a full hollowbody electric guitar.Gotta go take a break, I will post more in a bit.

of course i gotta chime in here. haha
i play mostly acoustic 12 str these days, but i was a lead guitarist in a metal band for about 5 years. (loads of fun)
ibanez makes some sweet models that can get that nasty sound. some 7 strings which are more expensive are really cool to mess with.
check out ebay for an ESP. those are pretty sweet for metal. i dont like Strats or Telecasters much, but to each his own.
i use a Studio Les Paul that i found in a pawn shop for 500 bucks. it is worth a lot more than that, so i was lucky. les pauls can make some nice screams, but they are pretty expensive.as for an amp... you can get a 10" (speaker) amp for less than $140.00. fender, peavey, marshall, gibson, et cetera. these guys all make 10" for less than 150, but they are generally over priced and i wouldnt wanna pay more than 100 for one, but you wont find that without some pawnshops/ebay. but i wouldnt buy unless i tried it out.
ive got a few amps, but since i live in a quadplex, i never break out the "big one" heheh. i use a 10" peavey Rage 158. they are cheap and dont get TOO loud, but theyve got a decent distortion on them and will let you at least learn.
most of those REALLY heavy sounds will come from pedals, and more expensive amps with some fiercly adjusted EQs.
maybe some of this info is helpful. =)

For $600 do not get a Squire. You can get a real Fender for that and the other stuff. Sticker prices are not actual prices.
If you want to play metal, play metal, don't listen to people who invalidate what you're into. If you're gonna play metal, certainly don't get a telecaster.
Ibanez is more metal, but I would tell you get a Strat. It's a versatile instrument. If and when you move away from metal, it will keep with you better than an Ibanez.
I would suggest you find a good local shop. Not online. Sticker price is never actual price. If you don't know how to haggle, just put some effort into talking to them for a while and keep asking what kind of deal they can give you on everything you need. You'll see the price of everything combined is much less than the sum of the sticker prices.
Rock on.

word brian.
good advice. package deal will be less than buying separatly. i just went with a friend to buy his stuff and he didnt know how to play, so i tested it out. the dude was tryin to fuck my friend over and i called him on it. the back of the guitar was damaged and i told my friend not to buy it. so the guy said he would take off 15% of the total package (about 100 bucks)
i also told my friend not to buy the amp cuz i knew we could find another one for cheaper and the guy took 10% off the amp.
so we bought it all. =)

it'll be good to check the stuff out with a pro!

I'm with Style junky on this one.
If you're just using it for home use - and predominantly with headphones? A line 6 pod is the way to go! I've got a friends line 6 here that i've been using for some recording and it really is nice. Just a matter of finding one on ebay or some such thing. It will give you a LOT more versatility than just a basic cheap amp will and the sound quality is excellent.
as for guitar - yeah dunno.
:D
