quit all apps,
if it still won't be able to delete, delete it with cocktail (search versiontracker)

These files have been on my comuter for months....
Is Cocktail freeware?
Whats version tracker? Is it the same as Carracho?
Cheers dude.

try repairing your disk permissions using the apple disk utility, in your applications/utilities folder.

It's happened to me once or twice. I usually get sick of messing around with it and reboot. That usually fixes it.
But Cocktail will work too. It's freeware and you can get it at Versiontracker.com

or
you can go to the terminal (Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities/) and type:
sudo rm (space at the end)
then drag and drop the file into the terminal window and hit return.
enter your password and hit return.
