looks nice, but I'm not sure if I would have recognized it without your hint. maybe ad a some details, just slight adjustments

They feel like little flames burning some weird color making fuel for some reason... If aside from the symbolism you're trying to hint at an initial/letter form I'd say no. 1 is the best proportionally, and makes a weird s or v shape... depending how you look at it...

I get the shake and the 's' but I wouldn't have seen the 'f' if you hadn't said.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I was afraid of that flame thing. The hands and letters doesn't neccesarily have to be obvious, but I don't want it looking like a flame or a V. Thanks. Does anyone else see any strange shapes?

I see a lephrechaun doing a hand-stand on a pot of gold.... just kidding.

on the second sample if you ommit the upside down F it looks like if they were shagging, which is more friendly than just a handshake :)

I think both ideas with some more work could be good for a physiotherapist, it captures the interrelation side of it.
May be the second one is to square for something related with body and biological, wich is more common associated with curves, and a square is maybe too cold. And yes, the first one looks like flames, but it can be worked out, I think. Do you get what I'm saying? Sorry for my english, is to early here...

i really like the concept and the look.
i didn't even think of flames, until someone said something. but still, they look more like hands than flames or Vs, in my opinion.

flip horizontal, people usually shake with right hand not left

if you flip it horizontally, there won't be an S.

actually the physiotherapist client I'm working for is specializing in a method that - after a stroke - makes the patient use the weak side of the body (and restraining the strong, easier side) so I'm kinda getting away with the left hand thing. :) I hope there's no symbolism in a left hand handshake that I don't know about.
Thank you for your input!
