no serious, you need flash player 6.something (you better get the very last version!) and maybe (they used to use it..) Director Shockwave plug-in.. (which you can also get on Macromedia's site..)

I saw James Patterson speak once. Nothing unexpected. He uses a tablet to draw in Flash. That and a mind full of great ideas and fast thinking. I'd love to watch him do it.

Patterson is one effin nice bloke... once walked with him thru Rotterdam after a show, and went to visit an afterparty at someones home... dude, this guy can really be enthousiastic about things! very positive and funny bloke... same counts for amit pitaru (who was there as well..).

ximera, i thought he meant to draw basic forms.. but yeah, it requires some heavy shit type of coding (done by (mostly) Pitaru and some by Patterson )

they were at semi permanent and showed off a bunch of shit that isn't on their site... they truly are insanely talented people, they showed off a 3d sketch pad app they had built that uses a tablet for the pen input and a trackball to rotate the view, then went on about how they would draw pictures from one angle and then when they rotated it it wouldn't all join up so they they reWrote it to have nodes in the lines that they could join up to make full consistent 3d sketches... at that point though my brain exploded and showered bits of cortex over everyone i was sitting with and was kindly escorted out...
