i told a theater full of people my sentiments and now i'm telling you.
the end.

a good idea, go back with a briefcase of counterfeit bills open it and use a portable fan to blow them into the theater...then, you pull out the bullhorn
- TransFatty0
first i'm taking a shower and getting some breakfast

opinions are like @$$#073$, mine smells better and tastes fresher.
- loudubs0
in that case, then you have a Visine Triple Latte and take a shit on the theater carpet

You should have gone to see Chasing Papi instead.

'Twas double poo, you are so right.
Here's my gripe: As designers and creatives we struggle everyday with clients and circumstances like budgets, timelines, making everyone happy, etc. If and when you get to the rarified level of stratospheric success (like the W brothers) where you can tell everyone "Buzz off, I'm Bro W, I'm doing my thing," and people give you millions of dollars and unlimited support to do it, and THEN you lay a TURD like this movie --- well then you stink. Bottom line.

but when everyone was ''raving' about the first Matrix....also a heavy load of shit, which i walked out of midway through, in bullet time, they allowed this travesty to occur.....the wasted millions on the wasted millions

use your 3rd eye next time

I poked out my third eye in disgust some time ago.

i stand by my verdict that Reloaded was a fucking cool movie. Yes, there where some minot flaws - but you have to admit that the Washowski's have balls and vision --
- Dolan0
Vision (at least for the first sure), but the balls question is up for grabs. I would say Reloaded was one of the more nutless sequels I have ever seen. No risk (except boring us to death). Everything was safe and predictable and the whole thing basically pandered to every expectation. It was safely in the established groove and was about as artistically interesting as a Matrix Happy Meal. I think the brothers had the balls to just say fuck all to making a good movie and just said fuck ya to raking in a ton of ducats. I guess that's a certain type of vision.

for those that don't know - who havnt seen the film - there is actually a scene in the underground city of ''Zion'' where the last human survivors "dance''
like sort of tribal - um ... and they all wearing sort of these ripped sweaters .... but then in other scenes everyone is wearing fucking leather trenchcoats and horrid eye gear
-it was excruciating.... but like a clown that eats raw hamburger, impossible not to watch
- unknown0
Transfatty: No it wasn't, you might Say "I didn't like it" that's it.
Dolan: your argument has no frame of refference.
ximeralabs, im with you.
I think the problem with most people is, first, there is too many people watching that movie even more then the first one, that makes them thing that the once "cool movie" is not cool any more couse is the movie that everybody is raving about. and second:
why do want to make a comparisson between both movies? is not a competition !!!
I think that movie was cool, get the term? "cool", yeah is not best movie in the universe.. but who said it was? get real people I understand that you can get rid off that "britney spears video" scene but are you going to tell me that you left the theater because you where bored???!!peace
- Bluejam0
Yeah...the 'dance' scene was a misplaced sequence of still images forced to rotate before our eyes but...
...i thought it was a good film. Obviously there is a wealth of sci-fi out there that is far superior in all aspects, narrative, idealogy an' all that jazz and this film could have been better, in hindsight as usual.
I dunno, for a couple of hours i got to see something different, something that was meant to entertain. That it did. An that's all i was looking for...pure entertainment.

"I dunno, for a couple of hours i got to see something different, something that was meant to entertain. That it did. An that's all i was looking for...pure entertainment."
WORD!
- Bluejam0
oh yeah
Dolan
Just curious, what, in your opinion makes a good sci-fi move?
...name it.
- ximeraLabs0
i don't wanna start a battle here dissing or defending opinions...
i mean -- the W. Bros. conceived this thing as a trilogy from the beginning and this is chapter 2 in the book - and as you know, the first chapter is the cool setup, the middle is the road in between where we get to know the characters a bit more and with some additional questions thrown in for good measure and the last chapter will be the big payoff...and by having balls i mean them getting the $$$ on the success of the 1st movie to do this and not budging for their story.
And besides -- this is probably the best comic book as movie(s) ever. They know their medium very well.
