Hmm... I liked the Pompidou. It's got its guts on the outside instead of the inside like most buildings.
Don't miss the Marais. It's my favorite neighborgood filled with killer galleries and weird odd shops of all kinds. There's a street there somewhere that has about twenty camera stores in a row... pretty wacky, but if you're looking for a camera... that's the place. There are weird little things like that all over the Marais neighborhood.
Hmm... I want to go there again.

oh yeah and I hope I won't have any problems as I don't understand a word in french (well apart from the usual nasty phrases)
My friends speaks french perfect, I totally depend on himwell maybe I should buy a cd which teaches by listening and speaking ...

I didn't have any problem at all, not speaking a lick o' french.
Everyone was very friendly.
But I am a gratious tipper at restaurants. Usually they don't expect a tip (I've heard it is factored into your bill already). But I was tipping like $10. Which was a lot of francs. They were very friendly after that!
