cheers ed - one of my original concepts was something very similar - but the client chose this design over the others - and the black I might add - so i can't really change it now...don;t think I'd want to either - I'm pretty happy with it - I think the colors and design work really well in sync with the imagery - simple yet undefined....

it's ok - but add some space between the "Art" pulldown menu and "Jewellery".

yeah - couple people mentioned that this morning...there's nice spacing on my comp at home - but at work - same platform same broswer - the titles and drop downs are really bunched up together...I'll sort that out when I asp everything....

try to put a transparant gif between them?

they're nested in tables at the moment - but it'll get sorted because they are eventually going to be dynamically generated by asp...cheers!

i'm not that into scripting stuff, unfortunately. do you tink it's difficult to learn those scripting languages as asp / php etc?

hey stewart!
If you aren't into scripting stuff - then you'll probably find it very hard going!! But that doesn;t mean you shouldn;t try - if you have a good grasp of javascript asp and php are ok to pick up

i really try - i'm working now for two years as "interactive designer" at a well known dutch graphic design agency.
and i've learned a lot the last two years - look what i've made there without any real knowledge of actionscripting!

that site was made a year ago, we're now working on a more sophisticated new one, that's "connected" to our new company brochure.
