anyone have a template for a lease termination (tenit to landlord)?
i am trying to move out of my place, but i have to give notice in writing 30 days in advance.
i have searched on google, legal forms sites, and all i get are the ones i have to pay $20 for.
any help would be great.

normaly you have to pay a prorated rate til the unit is released.
there really isnt a cheap way out.
check your lease agreement. its prolly in there

Have the apartment inspected by the local housing authority and make sure it gets condemed ( sabotage). This will break your lease right quick.

Mewhy do you need to get all legal, just tell them you are moving out. good luck getting out of a lease without paying a bunch of shit (rent until the apt is occupied again, reletting charge, early lease termination charge).

i would like it to be "legal" in case when the 30 days are up i dont get my deposit back.

Are you moving out at the end of a lease, or are you breaking a lease? If it's the latter, I can understand wanting to have it as legal as possible-but it still doesn't take away from the fact that you are breaking a written and signed legal contract, and even with 30 day notice, you can be held responsible for a variety of things, not the least of which is paying rent on the unit AFTER you've moved out UNTIL they are able to rent it to a new tenant. This is possible, so find out what the stipulations are in the lease that you signed before nailing yourself to a wall.

i am breaking my lease of 1 year after 6 months but it states in my agreement
"either landlord or tenant may terminate the tenancy at the expiration of the initial term by giving written notice to the other at least 30 days prior to the expiration date of the initial term."

u will prob lose youre security deposit :( BEG begging seems to work :) can u find someone to take the place? i know if i had to do this i could have the place rented by 3 pm...
