We go to Mexico about once a month, and while we're there we buy these little clay birds from some dude who give us a heavy discount...we pay $2.35 each. My wife puts them on Ebay and they sell everytime.
The lowest price sold for $7.95...she sells them regularly for $16. She sells every one we buy. And it's usually someone from the Midwest.

wow, what a response over night. anyone else have some advice?
my goal would be to buy bulk items and sell them in smaller pieces... like buy 1000 MiniDV tapes and sell them in 3pc packages.

yo. my cousin buys up very old windows complete with frames from auctions and flea markets, then blows up a postcard print of a flower, tapes it to the back of the glass and "traces" paint over on the top of the glass thus painting a flower and pot.
she buys them for $15 and sells them on ebay for $300 - 400. not a bad gig.
