They're paranoid and exaggerating. please say it's so.

what they don't tell you on the news, and why the W.H.O is so afraid of SARs is that once you die from it, 48hrs later your body re-animates and you go on an ungodly rampage with your fellow sars-zombies in search of fresh brains...
it's not the sars that's scaring people off, it's the zombies!

Yeeeah, i heard about that...
c'est vrai.
(it's true).

I'm not scared.
I'm eating rice with Pork and Beans right now. With each bite I take I feel so much stronger.

The Kansas City Royals are right to be cautious, only theyre not being cautious enough qite franlkly.
Kpl's thread title was correct, Toronto is a SARS wasteland... SARS is everywhere... toronto is in fact, a big bowl of SARS soup.

You're mayor is not a happy chappy! Who could blame him!

at the rate we're going, its gonna mutate before we find a proper cure for the mass....
pretty soon, its gonna be the
Super Sars Type B

I called our travel agent and all they said was if it gets any worse then they will have to cancel our tip.
If they cancel our trip all I can say is 'OMG this shit is serious' (not that it isn't already!). Is this the disease that will extinct all humans?
- Sapphire0
DITA, thats a far stretch... but i can sorta see that. something so small can propell itself into something of global catestrophic proportions, which is like right now....
- Lop0
I know it seems far fetched but after watching the news last night this virus is mutating, its changing all the time and there are different types of the virus appearing. Now that scares the crap out of me!
- Sapphire0
seriously
- AD0
did you you guys here about the new disease that is a way worse?
And unfortunately it seems to be spreading all over the world.
it called....
the media
protect yo neck

If you ask anybody actually LIVING in toronto they'll tell you it's all a bunch of media over-hype. The war's over so they need something new to scare us into submission with.
16 deaths and 250 (+/-) official cases in a city of 4+ milion is good odds you WON'T catch anything.
I take the subway and streetcar an hour every day to work and i'm not scared in the least.

That's the funny thing about watching the news..... it always leaves you feeling scared.
Fear = Complacence
The Flu kills 40,000 people each year. SARS has killed a couple hundred.
Wait! The Flu will kill us ALL!
