I'd put Futurama, Harvey Birdman, and Home Videos ahead of South Park.

ummm the simpsons.. only by a little though. simpsons just have cleaner smarter humor, and I have to respect that. South park is number 2 though!

Simpsons smarter? You guys are on crack. The Simpsons is terrible now, I won't even watch it. There hasn't been anything smart about it for years.
For those saying that South Park isn't smart then maybe you aren't intelligent enough to understand the political and societal humour that is tossed among the dick and fart jokes.

ummm well, maybe YOU don't realize the smarter humor on the simpsons because it's too suttle? South Park does do alot with societal humor ... although most of it is just to see which celebrities they can piss off

They're equal opportunity racists if anything For supposedly being racists they make fun of pretty much everyone. I don't think they've ever made one race look any stupider or smarter than the next.... thats what you get for watching south park all angsty and depressed huh?

yeah, but half the time they figure being racist is being funny enough... which it isn't. So lets stereotype everyone. whoopie. stereotypes aren't deep, so the humor ran out like two seasons ago.
the simpsons are heavily stereotyped too, but they play with them. Abu is the store clerk, but they actually deveoped his character. (gasp!)
see that's the thing. everyone is blown into a ridiculous caricature of themselves, there isn't any room for irony or smarty type jokes. It's not intelligent, stop pretending they have actual points. I haven't thought much of southpark since the first seven episodes.
and i'm not angsty. I'm just so much smarter than you.

home movies is very funny. And some of the jokes are straight up brilliant. I liked it better all shakey though. That was their style.
