i have some flash intro/navigation on an index page, which incorporates a few movie clips and takes about 10 seconds to watch...the nav comes in at the end...the client now requests a "skip intro" to take you to the last frame with the navigation...when i do that, it takes me there but then you have to wait for the movie clips to load...how can i go the end of the timelind AND the end of the movie clips?!!.
help please

on the button, just tell the MC's to gotoAndStop(); whatever there last frame is.
so if your mc's instance name is mc1 for example, try:
mc1.gotoAndStop(20);
something like that. make sure that the MC's are on the same frame as the button when pressed, otherwise you won't be able to target them.

Not sure how big your SWF is, but you may want to make sure the button only appears once the entire movie is loaded otherwise on slower connections the button will be trying to go to a frame that isn't loaded yet.

thanks YO...but let me see if i understand...if i have a "skip" button that lasts throughout the whole timeline, it will have mutiple actions on it?..:
on release (
gotoandplay ("scene 1", 230)
hand.gotoandstop (20)
and so on for all the MCs?
)and "20" is the last frame of that movie clip?..does each seperate action supposed to have their own "onrelease" or can it share one like my example?...
THANKS
