    thanks YO...but let me see if i understand...if i have a "skip" button that lasts throughout the whole timeline, it will have mutiple actions on it?..:

    on release (
    gotoandplay ("scene 1", 230)
    hand.gotoandstop (20)
    and so on for all the MCs?
    )

    and "20" is the last frame of that movie clip?..does each seperate action supposed to have their own "onrelease" or can it share one like my example?...
