you can create different reusable packages with Reason itself. I have been beta-testing Reason 2.5 and it rocks. That program is interchangeable. Really the best files to use are .rx2 or .rex files, but .rfl's are also good. We've also designed a .rex file CD coming soon from the same .wav beats we have for Loopit CD, the .rex file CD is called Born-2-Loop and will be featured once I am done with it at http://www.rexfiles.com

why are you beta testing reason 2.5 when the latest upgrade is publicly available?

You can design .rex or .rx2 files with a program called ReCycle! which was originally designed by the preeminent program designer Steinberg, but I guess was sold to Propellerheads. Basically, you can import .wav files into it and then export once you are done slicing the different areas in a beat-based loop. Exporting to .rx2 or .rex. The ReDrum machine and the Dr. Rex Loop Player both support REX files. ;)

I know, I beta-tested for Propellerheads. I also have that upgrade. There are only a few new features that I like though.

Reason 2.5 is NOT publicly available yet. It is still in beta.

I mean, if you have internet conection you can downlad it and report bugs on it.
