i've seen some great javascript and/or xml tricks on sites like http://www.microbians.com/

i was impressed by the dhtml version of http://www.451.com the other day.
check out the fades and slides on the text, pretty sweet.

thats my view on a lot of the fancy dhtml stuff though really, but at least they did do it in flash as well. better.

that 451's dhtml was very impressive, practically 'exactly' the same as flash.

BUT..
i checked your site yesterday, as Jan Schjetne posted it in PBS yesterday, but the portfolio items don't show up in the latest Safari!
other features worked for as far as i checked.Now I know! I was really wondering yesterday, as I really DID think it was all Flash.

as far as Safari goes, by all rights it should work, but I can't support a browser that doesn't provide any kind of script debugging tools. So I'm leaving it out until the final is released. hopefully by then they'll have some kind of debugger present.

I saw it too when it was posted on PBS.. I really did think it was in flash.to answer the hottest script trick question.. search for cup holder in PBS, I thought that was pretty cool.
