Looking for good examples of interface design. OSX style maybe. Apps that you though were well designed, fresh and broke away from the normally grey windows default.
thanking you!

not osXish at all but i just can't get over how good these insertSilence guys are... interesting anyway -

this one is cute too -
i'm not giving very practical solutions though... hang on

ahhh now we're getting somewhere, not the most amazing site, but the history and potential is incredible -

mmm, yummo, ya that last one is more like it, am deloping for a famous p2p so mainstream is what I'm after

oh oh oh! i think this got linked here just the other day but it really is cool... and for fun the HFD scroller is the cutest thing i've seen in ages

and everytime i search for interface on google i come up with this page... i think its very old (or at least the work is) but something about it is really engaging, if not a tiny bit crappy ;)

p2p hey, it might seem odd, but you might want to check out the skins available for opera, they are primarily quite commercial in look (alothough freeware) yet some of them aren't ugly.. at all!... i use a skin called minimalist (which doesn't look nearly as wanky as it sounds) and i think its a really good example of usability and commercial appeal..

lots of good stuff in that opera link

as much as i hate microsnot, i love them xp icons, have been using them for a year now and still love em

i gots to admit i really don't like either of them, i was having a conversation lastnight about this processor threshold thats going to be met soon(apparently) and how software design is going to be where the real leaps and bounds i met, someone mentioned how fast win3.1 interface would run on my 1.8g laptop and i couldn't help but feel sad at the amount of memeory my poor little puta uses to push around all those big fat icons

you can turn off loads of those pointless xp features if you want, i've turned everything off and have gone back to windoews classic skin, my puter runs like a dream now and i can still enjoy those icons

Bryce, Poser
I don't like it personally, but they're neat.
Lightwave
sucks.

turning them off was the first thing i did, but i still found that XP runs slower than i would have expected... oops! but then i went to the link and i've tired a few things in there that I missed, so we'll see how it goes :)

how about moodstats?

yeah i have to admit that i think a k10k style of iconography would be the best option for that sort of thing, as long as you can convince yopu're clients of just how damn cool they are, check out the ensign icons at cuban council... i think they're there
