Does Syria have oil? No, it has mediterranean ports...

Actually Iraqi Oil will not long live, it's a non-renewable resource. It'll take another million or so years for the swamps of the world to turn into Oil and Gas deposits. Go lay your claim to the Amazon or the Congo if you want Oil in about a million years.

Jamesh, you are a knee-jerk reactionary.
- Jamesh0
Glad to see your valuable contribution to the discussion mrdobolina.
How do you figure that I'm a 'knee-jerk reactionary? Do you disagree with me?
Are we not breeding more terrorism? Is not OIL the main reason we invaded Iraq?
- mrdobolina0
this reactionary comment:
-----------------------------"Now that bush has caused thousands more to enlist into Al-Queda, bombing the USA is exactly what's going to happen. I hope that oil in Iraq was worth it.
So when it happens, give yourself a pat on the back for suppoting him. But you won't, again you'll blame 'the evil arabs who don't like freedom'.
------------------------------
Just who exactly are you fucking talking to? Americans? Blanket statements like this dont accomplish anything except dumbing down your point.

"Are we not breeding more terrorism? Is not OIL the main reason we invaded Iraq? "
dude, this can't be totally proven or disproven. *BUT, even if you could, it doesn't matter. what's done is done. we reap what we sow... we don't need more hot-headed people griping, whining and stating 'i told you so!!!'
honestly... 'give peace a chance'

right on, Oil is a resource for the people of Iraq, they need some leverage. it is rather unfortunate what we rely on, but that's what we have to deal with for now and that's what they will have to deal with.
- Jamesh0
My point is that YOU, american or not, support terrorism when you allow your govornment to manipulate the rest of the world unchecked.
How many people must suffer so that the rich may prosper? and it's fine as long as we don't have to look it in the face.
Why did it take 911 to even bring this issue to the surface? Nobody seemed to even cared until the WTC's came crashing down, but once they did the Americans have acted like this is something new. Well welcome to the show. and get used to it because we are steadily pissing the world off. You know how many enemies we've created with this war on Iraq?
This mess has been going on for decades and you support it by blindly waving a flag you know nothing about. (if in fact that is what you do....or maybe you just randomly call names)
or we could just joke about it so people will like us.

boring politics in a design site. stop this boring chat.
WE ALL NOW: USA = FASCISM
USA = STARVATION, TERRORISM, NON-DEMOCRACY SYSTEM, BRUTALITY, ILLEGALITY, POWER OF MONEY, BLABLA.....

"My point is that YOU, american or not, support terrorism when you allow your govornment to manipulate the rest of the world unchecked"
ummm... sorry, but if you didn't notice, millions of people protested this war and not just people outside of america. they did what they could do, but the war still happened.
all we did to support this war was elect bush and gave him the power to take us into war. that's where we gave him the reigns to the country and the power to do as he sees fit. it's at that point we lose control... why? because the anti-war supporters were the minority... their voice was too small to make any real difference.
what more do you want jamesh? would you be content if we all just agreed that this is all about oil and that we like killing the innocent for it? what do you hope to accomplish here? i'd really like to know since you are so passionate about your stance.

did anyone watch southpark last night? We need to fill up a TIVO full of Iraqi war coverage and then dump ourselves and the TIVO into a wading pool.. allowing our electric fields to combine and transporting us to.... ahh never mind. We need Cartman to come and tell us how it is

People are ignorant, was and always will be. They will belive anything their leader, news tells them.

You people are sick, stupid, and spineless! You are wasting a good forum. Dont spread bullshit like this. Its easy to talk shit behind a computer but you guys wouldnt be anything in real life. Your probably the kids who got your asses beat in highschool and carry some underlying angst. Or did some Yankee steal your girl while touring your country and convince her to move to america and start a real life. You guys can wish all you want. At least we're MEN enough to stand up and fight for OUR freedoms much less die for 'em, instead of dying for some tyrannical individual. You guys are all p*ssy. Dont waste the good time of those trying to build on this site. Pride, Freedom, Love and Respect. I will beat that ass for 'em.

very good argument...
though i think the side you are actually arguing for is the opposite to the one you think.
- Jamesh0
thanks loudubs, that was funny.
and mitsu, I'm not hating on anybody whether they are pro-war or not.
I simply feel that Americans are blindly following an administration into disaster and feel I should fight ignorance.
People need to educate themselves on who is leading this country. Know their pasts and it becomes clear of their motives.
I am happy for the people of Iraq. I just wanted it to be for the right reasons and in the proper way.
One million have died in the congo recently. We will go there to help? I doubt it, unless flies become a profitable commodity.
The bush administration plays the 'humanitarian' card like an ace and middle america eats that shit up. I know, I live in Texas. Maybe that's why I'm so fed up with the ignorance. People here don't even know where Iraq is much less their history. They would back Bush (Texan) know matter what he does and I find this disturbing.
The people in power have a terrible past. And now they have control. And it is us who will pay when the next terrorist event happens.
I have/had friends in and all around the WTC's that day and it pisses me off when our country's actions are making the chance of that happening again even greater than before 911.

What the world needs now is more celebrity politics?
Where is that whore Susan Sarandon now that jails for CHILDREN have been found all throughout Iraq.
Where is the high-school dropout Martin Sheen now that millions of Iraqis cheer for freedom and the U.S? I say the next time he puts duck tape over his pie hole I would like to volunteer to assist Sheen in the removal of that duct tape. I won’t even charge him for face waxing services.
Oh and the BEST.... rumors are flying that Buffy, a.k.a. Sarah Michelle Gellar, could be the possible star for the the movie to the story of Jessica Lynch’s rescue. And the working title for the flick is said to be “Saving Private Jessica.”
I would like to point out that even though these Hollywood A-holes seem to have a lot of doubts about the war itself, libs those pricks don’t seem to have any doubts when it comes to making money off of it.
Just a thought I had.
