so recap:
I saved quark back to v3.3
I resaved all of the .eps and .tiff images to all .eps and tiff 8-bit preview color
I shortened all of the image file names to less than 7 characters

NOOOOO another problem now!
when you save an .eps file with TIFF 8-BIT preview...there is no transparency...arrgghhh
another other ideas?

just a thought, but if it's just for a client preview (no changes by them), why not just export to PDF? yes no?

they already approved the layouts, but they want the quark files so that they may edit the files in the future. The guy has quark and wants to create his own versions if need be.

anoone else any ideas? so I dont lose the transparency on my .eps files??
