I'm working with a flash file for a client that happened to get way out of with key frames. It's all vector but the swf turns out to be 3.8 mb iwas thinking of taking everything and putting it on the stage and sorta streaming it so to speak so when a user plays the animation which happens to be the navigation do you think it will be super choppy if not on a T1 or something???
please help...

Can you post it. It's hard to judge without seeing what's going on. Sometimes, it pays to rasterize some things.

yeah but i think most of the size is attributed to the 4000 plus keyframes
i can post it but like i said it's 3.8 mb
let me know if you wanna check it out, but rasterizing isnt such a bad idea

you sure you have compression enabled in the publish settings?

it's all vector artwork no bitmaps, i just think there are so many curves and keyframes that the file is huge
it's all keyframe by keyframe animation

if it's that huge, you'll save some space and get a really smooth look by exporting as a avi file. It Won't be flash anymore, but I don't know if that matters to you. It'd be worth a try just to see how it looks all smooth like.
