not all, but a lot of "protest"-niks with VD and a boring pamphlet up their sleeves. Just as the military must change it's tactics to suit an evolving world, so must the peace activist find the inner peace within to navigate this tricky, un-reality.

mrdobolina, I'm a prick because I said 'bullshit'? The rest was just facts. losen up.
And I agree with mas. We created Saddam Huseein. The US should think before it arms an evil man and turns a blind eye when he uses gas on his people. 911 didn't happen because they hate our freedom. (what's left of it)
- mrdobolina0
ok james, but what is the solution at this point?
- Jamesh0
Just because I see a house on fire, and know how it started, and know it's going to burn to the ground doesn't mean I'm a firefighter.... but I'm damn sure not going to throw more fire on it.
You know I love you.
alot.
- mrdobolina0
but you will stand around outside of this building and tell the firefighters what they are doing wrong...
- Jamesh0
Yeah, I'm saying "Stop burning down the houses you fucking assholes, soon we won't have a place to live! and using those BLOWTORCHES isn't helping anything."

I prefer lean on a lamp post eating a pop tart and watch the fire-men do their business

with the advent of human shields in Baghdad, as a form of protest, that tops all....it's the sacred pilgrimage of protest, the Jihad of the Unemployed speechwriter/graphic designer....if you aren't there, don't say a word.

It's thr nadir of stupidity.
Most of them returned to the UIK cause Saddam wanted them to shield bomb targets.

I can understand where you are coming from loudubs.
Seems we all get addicted to fighting for a higher cause than our everyday lives offer.
There are no simple solutions. But I have real fears about what this war has started.
- Jamesh0
the best you can do is spread the word and make yourself heard.
not sure if that was sarcasm or not loudubs... (pro-war people) if you are not in iraq killing innocent civilians don't say a word.

everyone always askes, ok smart guy..what would you do?
how about for startes, leaving the middle east .
democracy cannot be handed out by the barrel of a gun...
instead look to countries like Romania, and other dicators like Pinochet...
the people of those countries rose against the dictators...and achieved democracy..
wich is what the Iraqis people could have done, had it not been for the US selling them out 11 years ago.
and for the last decade...well...it's hard to fight a regime on an empty stomach...the embargo and sanctions hurt the common man in Iraq..not saddam...so they created a situation where the people can't rise against their own regime..instead they have to be 'saved'...well now..how fuckin convenient... ;)so there ya go man...
the answer is as plain as daisycutter bombs in a desert...
let the people achieve democracy on their own...
Iran wants it...and has a youth movement even larger than China had before it was crused..
Iran totally wants to become a democracy...givve them a freaking chance...saudi arabia?
the us has been proppin up that royal family for god knows how long..and they are JUST as brutal as the next guy...
you want democracy?
stop propping up dictatorships...that simple..the people will work the rest out themselves...
oh..
unless of course democracy in certain countries isn't favourable to the US...
hmmmmmmmm.....
no ...don't think about that...
such ideas are dangerous....
:)

very eloquent loudubs.

it has only set into motion what the people of the Three Faiths have ordained....a fulfillment of the bestselling novel of all time...the ultimate adaptation.....
this is the most psychological manifestation of self sabotage and self abuse that has ever graced the face of this planet,
but it is the instinct of the Invader to be behind it's cause just as it is the instinct of the Invaded to protect their home. Out of this Dialectic, there will come something that retains value for both sides.

very eloquent exador.
- mrdobolina0
no offense but, leaving the middle east isnt going to happen, so dont you think it is awful unrealistic to say, exador?
