By developing .REX files, and I am sure you know this, you allow users to bring them in and play with them in a sequencer, forget about Acid crapolla and having to worry about timestretching and all that crap. This makes it so much easier and you can quantize everything anyway. :)

OK, Uhmm so let's say you open up Dr. Rex ok? And then you want to put some Reverb Effect underneath it. Do just that, under CREATE -> Reverb. You see it will work the same for the vocoder effect. Got me? :)

So you can play something and then put a range of a vocoder effect on it? Got me? It's all frequency control in a sense but you cannot see it until you export and want to apply additonal effects to it such as with Sound Forge or Wavelab. :)

Now you lost me..
Rex and the vocoder are no in the same module?

no you see they are two different things. They do different things. Like if you open up a Dr. Rex Drum Loop Machine, that is one thing. However, if you want to put effects on that Dr. Rex it's another. Got me?

the small little boxes are supposed to go underneath the larger boxes, to put it simply, hee hee :)

Do you have Reason open now? I can guide you through something or send you a .rns file. Something simple when I get home.

ohh shit your the man then. No see I was talking about how you can just use vocoder effect on any instrument within Reason itself. Anyway, good luck. I like your website, wouldn't mind seeing how you did some of that, just functionality wise.

No I understand layers, you can check my site at http://www.loopkit.com however I like the multiple downloading .swf's

Well, anyway this site is really old, but I am going to update it and make .rex files available to people at http://www.rexfiles.com and sell a CD from there as well kinda' like loopkit.com
- unknown0
My bad, I ment to say levels..
- ********0
ohh that's different thanks
- unknown0
It's actually really easy,
Look for the tutorial on flaskit, works just like downloadin images..
You make your site in a canvas let's say: 500 by 200 and every file you want to be called from the main file is going to be on top of your main one, this files have to be also 500 by 200 but you only place the image or text you want to download..

ok I see so it is if you are sourcing a .swf and then that .swf has a downloader as well
