"We all live the western lifestyle and i like it that way and want it to stay that way."
and how is Saddam staying in power going to prevent our lifestyle?
"War is terrible, doing nothing is even worse."
Who is Iraq a threat to?
should we launch a pre-emptive strike against every nation that may or may not be dangerous?"Ask someone from Iraq and they will tell you to please invade Iraq and get rid of Saddam."
I'm sure thay will say, "please come and destroy my home, kill my children, steal my land and it's resources and build me a nice Mcdonalds when we are liberated"
"And do not tell me it is about oil, the war costs 3X the amount of oil that is in Iraq."
link to this "fact"
"Too much too say for too few people who understand!"
glad you can enlighten the rest of us

It is about a threat for the next generation. There is a groing group of islam people who think people without faith (i think most of us) are pigs and are allowed to die. This is a small group of the largest religion in the world. They can really ruin the world because they WILL push a button to end it all if we let them.
I know girls who get beaten by their fathers and can do nothing about it. They literraly live by a book from 768 AD. That book needs an update. Saddam is responsibel for more than a million lives. US also helped in Kosovo and in Africa not for oil but for stability. (That in the end leads to a liberal country that is open for also US companies ofcourse...) I hope i am wrong but i found all info in an atlas of 1953 where already was pointed out what was going to be the problem of this century...

"Screw all of you tree-hugging peace keepers."
wait, I'm confused. I swear I heard Bush say we are peaceful people.
(I'm from the US)
Isn't he always right?

miklo,
why don't you check who wrote what, before you start insulting me.
To answer your question I have 3 books I'm readin gright now: The process by Kafka, Candide by Voltaire, as well as some essays by Descartes. That and some actionscript junk.
And yes, I went to college.
Jeeez..

where do you get your facts from?
- Voutje0
Prom.. think about it, they are not stealing land and blablabla. Anyway a Mc Donalds would stand out nice in all those camo colours.
Prometheus, apart from doing nothing what is you solution?
The only thing i hear is "no war, no war" I never hear anything about Saddam. And Iraq sure is a threat tou also your lifestyle because they are supplying terrorheads with resources. You must agree with me that they also could have made their point flying 2 empty planes in an empty statue of liberty or something. But 2 planes full of people? In the WTC? WOW, people who can think of that really need to be checked upon!
- Voutje0
where do you get your facts from?
Please don't tell me you think that catholics and protestants are 1 religion?
- mrdobolina0
there is no fucking proof that al queada had ties to iraq, goddammit.
- Voutje0
I think we all want the same but it seems you can only choose 2 sides. Where are the nuances. Make up your own mind but don't be a cow and say "No to war" it is more complicated than that right?

tree-hugging..
mmm.....
get yer SUV's rolling!
You'll get yer oil soon!
First bomb some Iraqi children, well they wanted it anyway right?
Then screw the Kyoto treaty again..
and then tell you are god blessed and you are all for peace and the greatest nation in the world, one nation under god and blablablablablablablablabla.
And, Voutje, I'd love to invite you for a trip to Baghdad and ask the goddamn frightened families there.
Saddam must go, yes.
But the US is just screwing the UN (again) in the arse, and gets his "Coalition of the Willing" by putting financial help pressure on pretty damn poor countries.
oh, and like i said before, don't be surprised you get even more hatred towards you from Muslims in that region and in the rest of the world.

protestantism and catholicism are both christian religions
Islam too is divided into many sects
- Voutje0
i wish they had better proof than pictures of empty deserted buildings saying "Look! they removed it all!"
That raises even more questions, not a very smart move...
- mrdobolina0
well, honestly voutje, if there isnt anything to show, what proof could be shown?
Im just asking questions.... Im starting to get in war mode myself, as it is inevitable at this point.
- hiphoprelic0
Does anyone remember the UN resolution that this is over.
The world leaders (UN) told Saddam to disarm or face "serious consequences". What then? A slap on the wrist.
"Now play nice, Saddam."

All islam reads one book the christians (Best marketing concept ever) have different books and views.
I am trying to say that different parts of islam can live together while in Ireland they have proven to have their "differences"
