.....................the US is ruled by senile old twits, it´s like a freaking kindergarden: Alzheimer-brains toys with the entire worlds future..........well, guess I made my point

so does anyone think getting rid of saddam may be a good thing?
Is anyone here pro-War?
- unknown0
I´m pro-good food and french fries or not; it´s bad food.
War; when was it ever a thing you wanted? There´s is always a motive and it´s never a simple disire to just do it. So pro-war is not an option, pro-human rights are. The west has suffacated the people of Iraq for ten goddamn years, are we suppose to be liberators now?

Im Anti Bad People.
Pro-Solutions that avoid War at all costs.Does anyone else think the term 'War' sounds kind of 'ye olde world' these days?
- huw0
wouldn't the people of iraq be much better off without saddam? After he's gone, sanctions will be lifted, countries will plough money into the rebuilding of the country. The people will be free and have a better quality of life. Surely this is better than what they get now.
I'm not saying that Liberation is the true reason for this war (although it is a very good reason for a war), and I don't belive the cliche of it all being about oil. I just go along with the tought that enough is enough, and for the international community to have any credibility, then they have to back up their words with actions. They promised stern actions, they should give them!

Of course Saddam needs to go.
Anti-war people are not pro-Saddam.
War does not bring peace.
Democracy cannot be imposed from above. The Iraqi people must be given the support they need to overthrow Saddam themselves. Dropping 80000 bombs on them over 48 hours is not going to do this, it will only strengthen the divide between the west and the middle-east, which is exactly the recruitment card that keeps dictators like Saddam going.

As Media Practitioners you people (this is only some of you mind) should be fully aware of how companies and governments (marketing depts etc) can mould information to affectuate certain results. What if this 'Saddam' character isnt even a real enity, huh. Just a cipher for US agression. Fuckin think about it man! Like really think about it.

I was thinking that the other day about Osama... he is almost a fictional character, I've only seen the same photo of him on the news for the past year, he could be anyone or anything! And didn't he morph into one with Saddam for a while there in the media? Even though they've never been proven to have any links? Frightening.

Totally Man. I mean it's not like were ever going to expect to meet any of these guys. They could be anyone really.
- huw0
anyone with any brains here?
- vespa0
He could already be dead but we need the final scene of the movie so the hate figure is being kept alive...
- vespa0
I have a brain, huw, even if it sometimes thinks in a way it wasn't programmed to.

I reckon he'll be like one of those soapie characters that they kill off but miraculously returns in a later episode only slightly wonky looking. :)
- huw0
same here vespa! nice site by the way!
Judging by some of the replies here, I guess I must have watched too many war films!
- Danski0
Oooh, how about we... get rid of saddam, and bush, and blair, and everyone found guilty of lies, exploitation and deceipt. Then we replace them with a papier mache model of ronnie corbet.
- vespa0
Thanks huw... I don't think I've watched that many war films. Enough of it in life I guess...
Are war films trailers for real life?
- unknown0
.............are you having too many espressos this morning, vespa?!
I myself am sure I have had a warriorlife previusaly. I somehow knowall kinds off stuff about the german army in ww2, hence my screenname here.
I dream alot about surton weird scenes from the eastern front and have watch a great deal of ww2 related movies. I know, it´s fucked up.
But all this "old knowledge" has given me reasom to think what war is and my cinclusion is that it´s all BAD. There´s just no winners; ever. It´s a short turned solution made by people hwho never actually gets in the warfare pert of it.
So, take it from a guy who wakes up screaming for things he seems to have done in another life: say no to war!!
