does anyone out there consider themselves truly happy?
i always have to an extent. i'm young, make decent cash, have a beautiful gf and a nice place to live. but, today, i realized that i'm not truly happy. there are so many things that make me unhappy. my family, my friends, thoughts of my future, but mostly, my career.
i dont want to be a programmer forever. i want to do something that will help others. i want a career that i can be proud of. not that programming is bad, in fact, i love it. but i'm just not certain that i'm going to make a difference in this world or even in one person's life. yo know what i mean?
how does one accomplish true happiness? is it just pyscological?

don't need money, job, gf, family, friends to make me happy either.
there is only one thing in life that will make anyone truly happy.

But right now I don't feel an urge to change anything. That's good enough.

i think happiness is unique to the individual. no one can tell you what will make you happy, you have to decide that for yourself and then it's up to you to do whatever it takes to obtain that true happiness.

here is my issue. i dont believe in God. so when people tell me that one he can make me happy, i cant agree with them. how can i have faith in something i don't believe is there. to me, God is a feeling that people have. its the feeling of wanting or trying to be good. and satan, or the devil, is the feeling of wanting or being bad.

devil vs. god is just a dichotomy set up by some early Ad Men...but is based in myths like Gilgamesh. People like light and are scared of the dark, pretty simple, but he darkness is just the 'absence' of light not the opposite. logic will guide you.

theres always something else/new to make you happy coz our mind need to see new patterns to grow some excitement in life.
