The rule I was told (and believe in) about dating is "half + 7". Take your age, divide by 2, add 7. That's the minimum age requirement for girls you can date.
Me for example: age=23, half that=11.5, +7=18.5, I'll round up or down depending on how much I like the chick.
Peace=>

Hey Saph, maybe you just need to get laid.

I don't think anyone is a complete loner. Some people just don't seek out social contact ,or even need it, as much as others. I think of it as a high tolerance for lonelyness. But when lonelyness does get to me it's nice to get out with some friends and scare them with my lack of social skills. haha

this thread just made me sad.
being a loner wouldnt be so bad if i had a really, really hot chick to be anti-social with.
- piperboytoy0
at least you have a nice site.

I couldn't help responding to this thread, because I just had a very good friend try and overdose on sleeping pills on Saturday night. I spent some time asking myself how can things get so bad that someone would want to do this? How can someone let their their surroundings overwhelm them like that?
Well I think some people can answer this question and some can't. Some people are able to cruise through life and never experience anything that grasp them so tight that they feel they're about to choke.
I've just experienced three eye-opening events just over the weekend. As I said before, my best friend tries to kill himself and my mother had a life threatning accident. The third was my little girl, celebraing her fourth birthday. All three makes you take a moment and breathe deep and thank whomever you thank for everything you have.

I come to NT to escape from my real life friends. I think I like the people here much better...
Hmm.. That's scary.
d5ive, sorry about your friend and mom. I've had days like that when you just snap out of life for a second and are forced to step back and look at the whole context of things. Makes you really rearrange your priorities.
