"if it was really about WOMD then there are many countries ahead of IRAQ and NK. Like the US for example."
and do those countries pose the same threat as iraq? could you point us in the right direction please?
- exador0
bombing the iraqis..who for the past decade have done NOTHING to the US and up till then were a beloved ally is not going to make you any safer...
they have not attacked you.
they have no intentions of doing so..
the fact that so many now believe they have to live in fear of iraq only goes to show you how totaly easy it is to fool the public..
ever sit in history class and wonder how the Germans could have been so blind to their war mongering furhers intentions?
well..
welcome to the club..Hitler’s Germany was a superpower, armed to the teeth. Czechoslovakia was a small, defenceless country. The Nazis, nonetheless, claimed Czechoslovakia was a ‘dagger pointed at the heart of Germany’, and they may have succeeded in frightening Germans into believing them.
The final display of the irrelevance of the United Nations will not be, as Mr. Bush thinks, a Security Council vote against war with Iraq. It will come, instead, the same as the demise of the League 65 years ago: when it helplessly watches a superpower attack and invade a defenceless country.

"we aren't going after the iraqi government because of 911, we are going after them to insure another event like 911 won't occur"
glad to see someone "listened" to bush's speech and not just sit there and hate thru it.

"they have not attacked you.
they have no intentions of doing so.."then what's the big deal with them disarming? why is that such an issue? bush gave them a chance last fall... it's been what... 6 months now?

"going after the iraqi government" by bombing fuck out of the country with 800 cruise missiles in 48 hours will GUARANTEE that another event like 911 DOES OCCUR......
watch this space.

Evolution in reverse.
good luck to all of you.

"if i feel like im in danger, i always have to ask for permission before feeling safe. "
More like, if I am going to kill hundreds of thousands of Iraqis with taxpayers' money, I have to ask for permission from both the taxpayers and the world mediator of international law, the UN.
- unknown0
mitsu, more like 12 years its taking saddam to disarm.
"by bombing fuck out of the country with 800 cruise missiles in 48 hours will GUARANTEE that another event like 911 DOES OCCUR...... "
and jews are still being burned at the stake each day even decades after hitlers fall.

this upcoming conflict isn't about the dog. it's about the owner.

is this their plan of action? regardless, the us has the interests of the iraqi civilains in mind. food rations are already being prepared.
- sherman0
the us has created this threat. its not a matter of the Iraqis creating it, its a matter of the US egging it on in hopes to take over the rich oil reserves.
the us does this in isreal, its done it in panama as well as mutliple other countries of financial intrest.
its all really to bad, i feel for all parties, but if you look closly at the facts and watch the serious war hawking thats going on. Im no smarty on the subject, I just hope this war is for the right reasons, because its going to effect the whole world.

yea, thats exactly it. its this type of ignorance that will win you a trophy. this isnt gonna be like gladiator or braveheart. we're not going in and raping iraqi women and shooting up schools with children in them. military has evolved where its gonna be strategic and precise.

"That's nice. Food for the dead. How considerate."
they are being asked to move. quite considerate... their dictatorship government will be replaced... not the best option... but then again, it's not really the US that's imposing this, it's Saddams choice of not dissarming.

FREE SPEECH FOR THE DUMB.

One way to ensure that Saddam doesn't disarm is to put hundreds of thousands of troops in the area and broadcast pictures of the cruise missiles you are going to use against him.
I mean how would he defend Iraq from the US-UK invasion? Bush and Blair have left him no room to disarm.

"we can make it TOGETHER you and I Cymande, we can tech the people LOVE if we TRY in all their hearts there rests a problem in my heart and your heart the ANSWER lies"
Cymande 1974
still true today!!

disarmament wasnt asked yesterday vespa. its been asked 12 years ago when no troops were even on that side of the globe.
- mitsu0
"One way to ensure that Saddam doesn't disarm is to put hundreds of thousands of troops in the area and broadcast pictures of the cruise missiles you are going to use against him. "
another way is to just leave him alone and cross our fingers and hope for the best.
"I mean how would he defend Iraq from the US-UK invasion? Bush and Blair have left him no room to disarm."
yeah, 6 months isn't nearly enough time... especially for the WOMD he totally forgot about.

the bottom line is this...
rules need authority. without it, they're fruitless.
