    bombing the iraqis..who for the past decade have done NOTHING to the US and up till then were a beloved ally is not going to make you any safer...

    they have not attacked you.
    they have no intentions of doing so..
    the fact that so many now believe they have to live in fear of iraq only goes to show you how totaly easy it is to fool the public..
    ever sit in history class and wonder how the Germans could have been so blind to their war mongering furhers intentions?

    Hitler’s Germany was a superpower, armed to the teeth. Czechoslovakia was a small, defenceless country. The Nazis, nonetheless, claimed Czechoslovakia was a ‘dagger pointed at the heart of Germany’, and they may have succeeded in frightening Germans into believing them.

    The final display of the irrelevance of the United Nations will not be, as Mr. Bush thinks, a Security Council vote against war with Iraq. It will come, instead, the same as the demise of the League 65 years ago: when it helplessly watches a superpower attack and invade a defenceless country.
