Ok what is the deal over there?
They claim free speech but right after you say something what seem to be inappropriate for the public they censor the hell out of you.I've noticed that nearly every cuss word is bleeped on tv, violent scenes in movies are cut but not all!! In matrix they've cut the scene where this lil boy is bending the spoon but not the shooting scenes!!
Nigger is not censored but fuck is!!!
What the fucking hell is going on over there????
And what the fuck is up with the commercial breaks every 5 damn minutes???

if you watch cabel television it isnt cencored.
our basic channels are censored so its appropriate for like 13 year olds. late night television is better than prime time.

TV movies are edited by someone who works for the TV station, not the Gevernment. They probably are just editing the movie to fit in a time slot. Duh...
As for commercials, that is what pays for TV stations to run and why WE have lots more variety of programming than YOU. Plus WE don't have to pay for watching TV, unless you own cable. Doesn't England charge a yearly fee just to watch TV programming?

I have lived in several countries and I think the only place with more sensorship than america is japan, (porn mags have black squares in boobs or vaginas)That's is why, when people say this is a free country.. dont get me wrong... but what happens when you are in cali and you want to drink a beer, enjoy a cigarrette and its cold outside?
