I just started using this program - so this question might be stupid:
I want to cut shapes out of a box, so that it still fills in the bits which are cut out. Now it does it most of the time (using Boolean function) but for some weird reason not always (even if I use the same compound elements). Other times it just cuts a hole in the box (and I want just a dent).
Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Not exactly sure what you are asking, but Booleans in Max suck in general. Look for a plugin, Power Booleans, or something like that, to do it reliably.
