Hi!
I'm doing a research for a school magazine on stupid client stories. I used to have this link to a forum that had like billions of them but I can't seem to find it now. Could you guide me to such a site or do you have some funny stories of your clients of your own? If so please send them to ragnarfreyr@lhi.is
Thanks in advance,
Ragnar

well when you graduate from school, you will find out one thing that clients all have in common.
they are all stupid.
they are the clients for one reason. they don't have a creative bone in their body.
it is our job to guide them through the process. show what is good creative and what is not.
here is the trick. know when to punt. meaning: when a creative project starts great and goes bad in a hurry, know when to count your losses and let it go.
that has been a life saver for me. it is not a "give in" mentality. it is a realization that there are bigger things in life than this creative project that I am working on.

Excellent advice BB.
I consider work less than 50% of my life, so any time I get too stressed about it, I remind myself that there is a bigger picture.
I actually don't imagine I'll be a designer for the rest of my life (even though I live and breathe it now). There's just more fun things to do - I just have to find a way to afford to do them because they usuallly don't pay for the groceries :)
