have you ever been on one? if so how did it go?

Not too good m'n.....though I was daft enough to go...my sister set me up with a workmate of hers...If I'd met her for two minutes beforehand I'd have known straight away I wasn't interested...as it was I sort of had to sit out 3 hours in a restaurant with both of us embarassed tae fack, not up for anything but making my excuses.....not my idea of fun...

ive been on one before.
i was fucking shitting it waiting for the girl outside the bar we were meeting at.
all sorts of fat and ugly mingers walked past and i was cringing as each one walked by.
but the girl that turned up was a cracker. we got on well got pissed had a laugh. went out for a wee while and she's now a very close friend.
so there you go - not all blind dates are a nightmare. ;)- why u asking phubar?

I've been on a few. Some of have been quite bad, but so what? You never see them again. I had one that ended up being a great girl, beautiful and the best sex I probably ever had. After we split 6 months later, I got her together with a close friend of mine. They're married now with two kids.

a friend of mine is going to be on the TV show Elimidate, http://Elimidate.com where she goes on a blind date with about 4 other guys and through the course of the date she eliminates 3 of the guys. Hence the name "Elimidate".
I think the show airs in a month or so.
