if still no luck use the tried and tested school-bully approach of flushing their heads in the bogs...if ye need a hand gies a shout ;)

my mum used to have a brilliant way of disarming anyone who threatened her (she was all of 5 foot 2..), she would just smile at them - like really beam as if she were chuffed tae bits to see them....that worked, on the other hand when she got angry her words were enough to send the village's "hardest" running (actually happened once - he was utterly incapable of response)

Bullies can generally be seen off by an opponent who not only isn't hurt by their criticism, but who trule appears not to give a fuck about whether the bully lives or dies.
True apathy is the key. Well maybe. Works for me. But I'm no therapist or anything.

confrontation... nothing speaks louder than confidence.
approach the individual in private and don't sit down. stay standing, look them straight in the eye and be firm. have your words prepared before hand so you can make the whole thing quick, professional, and best of all, it will really catch them off guard. it'll work.
