no what you mean kezza. cant make my mind up either. not interested in "i'm anti everything" people taking it over. will be pissed off if that happens. guarantee it wont stick to the point.

Biofeldt, it is understandably confusing as the war doesn't make any sense when you really analyse it.
I am also anti Saddam, but the war will only kill ordinary people like the last war.
This war will not exact revenge for 9-11 as Saddam is not Osama. This war will not stop terrorism, it will only heighten resentment towards the West, which will breed more terrorism.
The Iraqi people have already been paying for 10 years, what more can we get from them?

Why are you so worried about being lumped in with the "anti-everything" crew? It's easy enough to excuse yourself - say you believe your country should go to war.
Go for yourself, if you believe it is wrong.

OND, if the reason you attend demonstrations is for violence, an adrenalin rush and a bit of a shout you are a fool.
And this is an anti war demo. Not a everything's wrong with the world demo. (A rouge state is like a rogue state but with sofas)
The reason that demos are viewed with suspicion by authorities and not taken seriously by the public is because they anticipate that the crowd are ill informed and just out to air their frustrations which may not have anything to do with the aim of the demo and up for a scrap. Ignorance will breed contempt. The best way to get your point across is through reasoned argument and being in control of all the information you have collected and absorbed. If then you feel the best way to get you point across is to run at a policeman in riot gear I'd rather you stayed at home. If you are not being violently oppressed don't start trouble. And if I catch a sight of you chucking a bin through a shop window I'll give your knackers a reasoned argument with my boot!

I do not participate in any violence, ever (unless you count punching a kid once while I was in primary two....)
If you were to mistake me for someone who'd thrown a bin through a window then the reasoned arguement from your boot would be more likely to catch me in the arse as I'd be running away from you...
What I meant was I will be interested in seeing how it is dealt with here, never having been to a demo here before. In Zurich the security forces are ready every year on 1st May with water cannons, rubber bullets and tear gas - and every year it gets used.
If you are caught in the middle of all that, then yes you do get quite a rush and the adrenaline is incomparable to skiing the blackest of black runs....that's all.

i'm pretty sure this time around it will not be only the "anti-everything" people attending. Support for the cause is much more wide spread. I'm sure there are plenty of normal people coming out and taking part. Don't be worried about getting lumped with the anarchists. The more normal people attend, more likely it is that nothing stupid happens.
