I reloaded the site a few times. There seem to be one or two non-blinking backdrops...

If it's Hi-res it really is the most disappointing thing I've seen them do...
But probably there's some secret button that turns it into an extravaganza...but I just can't find it...

Does anybody feel anything or think about anything when using a site like this... The overriding feeling of frustration and exasperation totally wipes out everything else for me.

Some hi-res stuff is like that...actually you're right a lot of it... But the aesthetic of this site is pretty monotonous and just doesn't really say anything...
I'm not thinking, learning, or even just being blown away... Just being annoyed. Is that good?

they've got the talent and are doing stuff most folk won't ever dream of... but there is definitely something [in my opinion], very, very annoying about hi-res's stuff of late. besides the more corporate sites like topshop... I don't want to delve as deep as they ask, especially when I know the pay off is not going to be worth it.
ps did you pitch for it and lose or something pixelfrog? 'cos it's a new site by one of the foremost companies so what the hell is wrong with discussing it?

The question is the reward for so much efffort. Sites like this demand thorough attention but the results seem neither thought provoking nor aesthetically interesting... It's just fuzz.

it's just a website – is it so bad that it's different, that it looks unlike most sites where you can *ahem* "get your info and fuck off"? i think it works brilliantly with the music it's ultimately been created to promote but works as an experimental platform too. is that so bad? i dont think so – it's refreshing, amid all the shite out there
