I love Canada :)
But I wonder how you guys can live under temperatures below
-20C or -30C in winter.Is it always like this?

I'm just playing Globemat.
I guess one just gets used to the 30C summers and the -26C winters (in Toronto) after years and years of experiencing it.

i have one of those fancy seal fat insulated igloos...keeps me ooh so toastie.
if you think -30 is bad try 40 plus degrees (including humidity) in a tiny apartment with one window downtown Toronto...breathing makes you break a huge sweat!

My town is in the middle of a chinook right now.
Yesterday was -25, today it's -2.

that's only in the east that the weather is so cold - its actually quite warm out here in vancouver.
The local ski hills had to close early this year because of lack of snow.

We wanted to go out at Jay Peak (SnowBoard!) today, but we scrap the idea when I spotted a nice -35 C on TV this morning.
Do you know how this feels like with the windshield factor!

I live in Winnipeg, probably the coldest city in Canada, on winter average. Plus we don’t have any mountains to ski on. Winter sucks here, Period!
However summers are insane here. It's so hot... A few summers back I was in Barbados visiting family. While there the heat was killing me, I remember saying that at least it will be cooler in Winnipeg. Ha what a joke God played on me. You would think he sent me straight to Hell.
You got to see it to believe it. Winnipeg summers are Nice; it’s just too bad it’s such a hick town.
