business sites with young guys shaking hands.
- CyBrainX0
Oh, God, that's a good one about the hand shaking. That would put Photodisc half way out of business. If you cut out there using-a-phone images, nothing would be left.

mitsu,
I have the word propaganda on my site. Touché! I guess you see a lot of that now a days. There are reasons for it though.
The reason for me was that I was very impressed by the way US handles Psyopp. After reading through some documents posted by the Adam the Information Architect I figured there are lessons to be learned from the methods the americans use. To me it is all about learning professionalism.
Design is supposed to reflect the environment it is created in. Our media environment is full of propaganda and messages with hidden agenda so it is no wonder people have lately picked that up. The manipulation is really obvious too and they seem to get away with it.
IMHO using the word propaganda has more meaning (on my site) than a diagonal arrow would have. Off course it could also be considered the new secret handshake for the wannabe designer underground. ;)

oh and my site has the words 'propaganda coming soon' and it has been that way since I booked that domain back in may 2001.
but it is directly linked to the concept of the site, which incidently is ACTUALLY coming soon..

i dont have the word 'propoganda' on my site (i dont think), but i'm gonna find a place for it tonight.
