Ok, I just got nextels I95, it's pretty slick, tokyo has some crazy phones i've heard...
what do you have?

SonyEricsson T68i.
The "3" in the title, is that a mistake or an attempt to be cool?

i've got the t68i too. love it.

I am thinking of getting the SonyEricsson T68i. But I am so used to Nokia phones and the gui. I had an ericsson phone before and hated it the buttons reacted slow and the user interface made no sense.
MY Girlfriend just got the t300 ericsson phone and it looks like nothing has changed. The buttons react slow and whats up with having through 5 menus just to get out of a game and make a call.
I want a bluetooth phone but I 'm thinking of waiting till the Nokia 8910i Phone is available in the states.
Are there any other bluetooth phones in the states?

In January 2002, VERTU a new independently run subsidiary of Nokia, announced the most expensive handset ever. it is made of precious metals like Platinum, and worth $US 20,000. Apparently they can custom built to order and design too (provided you have the mullah)...
here's the official site:

personally, I only use Nokia, though a recent trip to tokyo opened my eyes, technologically speaking - but I suspect it won't sell well outside Japan, because of flakiness UI and design in general...
anyway, I'm more inclined for the new Nokia 6800 or 3650

any useful tips (or should i just get off my arse and read the manual) - and is it worth the transition to Jaguar to get the handy ad-ons like i-sync

I can't believe how backward the states is with their mobile phones and networks. I was jsut there over xmas and the phones you guys have for sale are the same ones we had over here in the uk about 2 years ago!! Big clunky flip phones....mmmmmm.
I have the sony Z7e and it kicks ass.

My Nokia 6210 sports unique beer-spill effect buttons, which enhances txt-msgng no end, and an amnesiac voice mail service. It has about 200 old text messages which I can't be bothered to sort out, so takes about ½ an hour to 'boot-up'.
why do consumer electronics have to boot-up? If I want to watch Cable at night, I have to turn the fucker on, go make some tea, then come back and watch a Telewest loading page. Why? I mean - it's just sodding TV.. And it's not as if it loads anything. I still have to pause between channels for the listings to come up, and wait for any information/extra services. So what's it fricking doing?

Hopefully all the crappy phones will go away and die now that the states finally has a GSM network (sorta) up and running. Now we can buy Europeon cell (i mean Mobile) phones. But here in NYC they are really expensive.
