phubar, i told him to just sketch something in mspaint, apparently it takes too much time...something that we could both refer to in real time would be more practical, where our cursors would be displayed so we could point to what we're talking about...

On windows, I think netmeeting has a whiteboard feature.

that need xp thing is bollocks, they just nicked things from netmeeting and shoved em in msn and went "WOWZAS NEW XPPPPP FEETUREESSS" just fire up netmeeting it does the same thing on all vers of windows

MSN has a white board feature also, if that's any help. prolly not. but worth a shot. maybe.

i'd probably just write the sofware in vb. Creating a Win32 program in c++ from scratch would take too long.

yea Ohood. MSN chat has a whiteboard that is set up like the old windows Paint.
it is very simple and easy to use, lots of fun. only works on PC though.
ive used it a couple of times with some pricks that hang out on NT. haha YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! =)

apparently you need xp to use to whiteboard function on msn chat...i just tried it...im using win2k ;-(
