problem: i have a client on the phone telling me verbally how to draw certain shapes...for phucks sakes, its hard going by someone's words vs what you think those words mean, like describing curves, trophs, convexes etc.
so here's my question. is there software, or a game like those shockwave games on the internet of old arcade games, or like an etch a sketch that would allow us both to draw shapes and see what the other is talking about?
i remember playing a game on shockwave where you draw shapes or something.
thanks

...why dont you just fax eachother!?

...or even better, get him to do it himself. Whats the point in hiring someone!?

hmm, neat idea.... if i have time tomorrow i'll write an app that does that... no promises though.

phubar, i told him to just sketch something in mspaint, apparently it takes too much time...something that we could both refer to in real time would be more practical, where our cursors would be displayed so we could point to what we're talking about...

mitsu what kind of application would you use?

I've seen and used a shockwave app like that. I know there's one out there somewhere...

On windows, I think netmeeting has a whiteboard feature.

i'd probably just write the sofware in vb. Creating a Win32 program in c++ from scratch would take too long.

You might be able to use this http://www.isketch.net

yea Ohood. MSN chat has a whiteboard that is set up like the old windows Paint.
it is very simple and easy to use, lots of fun. only works on PC though.
ive used it a couple of times with some pricks that hang out on NT. haha YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! =)
