ohh wow!! just dont spend it all in one place.
http://www.euphoriadreams.com/ requires a logo. their a new club promotion outfit based out of San jose, CA, throwing parties in SF, LA, Vegas and eventually world wide.
they want something red, sexy, and powerful. the site will launch next month. if you can come up with a logo, you could get a chance to do some of their flyers for some extra mulah..

why would you do this logo work for free? unless you had nothing else to do...they can steal all the ideas they get, make their own logo and never pay noone the "$200 winning" prize.
This would be worse then getting uderbid which also sucks ass.

SLAZ, they payd me just fine for their site, their even paying me for maintanance + got me and everyone on their team a cell phone, so dont hate, you dont wanna do it, fine dont do it, just dont ruin it for others.

oh yeah, they were thinking of going the route of a crest for a logo, i tried to talk them out of it, saying alot of designers are doing this, it will be dated like 45 degree arrows soon, but that was my opinon, and they didnt seem to mind.

HCP, i wasnt hating... just noting what could be taken for FREE. If you are so satisfied with them and handling the project management, why don't you just outsource the job yourself? Or do it yourself. Listen, I know $200 isnt that much, but are you going to face the person if they do steal someones ideas and daon't pay him? That's all.

SLAZ nice site by the way. i like the orange. ide love to do the logo but i have too much on my plate at the moment. like i said earler, these guys will pay, they paid me, and are continuing to do so, i pretty much run their creative dept, (which is small) but for a starting company like club/concert promoters their creative dept is the most important. and no they or me or we wont take apart peoples ideas twist themn around and call em our own, its only 200 bux theyll get up off of $200 bux wrather than go through the trouble. and like i said theres future print work with these guys aswell.

what sort of parties do these people throw? how many people, what calibre of djs, what genres... etc. do you have links to past flyers.

Can you post the submissions when the logo has been finalized. I am sure something sweet will come from this, there are a bunch of fresh designers.
