We have a Quark file that has smaller versions of bigger ads put into it. Kind of like a 5 inch by 5 inch flip book of the whole campaign. The thing is on its way out the door and we discover that the small thumbnail ads were placed into this Quark doc for comp purposes and are CMYK Photoshop EPS files.
Here is the problem. They need to be 2 Color. Pantone 295 and Black. As does the whole job. If we start over and bring in the the actual original Quark files (shrunk down) we are okay. But we don't have time for that. This thing needs to jet out the door now.
Is there anyway to use the existing files that are placed in the Quark doc and make them 2 color? Save out of Quark a different way? Alter the PS file that is currently CMYK EPS?
Hope this made since. And hope you can help me out.
thanks,

convert to greyscale and then duotone your pantone/blk
could give you nasty results, depending on what you've got, kinda cowboy.

thx rasko. We actually found out that now they want to send it as is. Turns out it is only going to be $500 more than if it was 2 Color anyways. WOOOOHOOOO!!!!
F&*K!!!!
I won't drag you all down into this mess. Thanks anyways. It is out the door.
