Use the patch. I quit, and now I can't stand the stink of a cig. Unless I'm drunk, but I cannot be held responsible for my actions while under the influence, yada yada

scale back!
I've got it down to one cigarette a day (usually at night) and it's an ultra light
I can go a day without one pretty easy...
I quite before like that (9mo) and never really took up the habit hardcore again (like max 3 smokes a day at the peak).
it's also good if you're around non-smokers, quitng can be tough if everyone around you is smoking.

its a goal of mine as well. gonna start running again, thats how i quit last time. this years stress got me smoking. best of luck to all of us who are giving it a go.

Quit because you want to live beyond the age of 50 and still enjoy life. Or keep it up and get very very sick and have an early undenyably painful death.
I just watched my mom suffer and die this past year from lung cancer at age 50.
Quit for yourself, for your family and friends. People really do want you around regardless of what you think.
