how might i convert a .wma file to mp3 or aiff on a mac (preferrably OS X, but can go classic)

you can do it many ways, however, each and everytime you convert you lose a little something in terms of quality. The best thing to use, I suppose for MAC, is either WAVELAB or something like Sound Forge 6.0. That way you lose less and you can actually boost your sounds before you choose which format to export in. Word!

how did it work out? You can use .wav formats in MAC now I believe. I was going to make my Loop CD into .aiff as well, but I figured not too as .wav is now supported on both.
