i stumbled across a site and noted that they had stolen a graphic outright from the old dept3 website, so i ratted them out. i also notice that they are using illustrations from a site i know i've seen, but i can't remember the url. roll over the nav on the right and you'll see what i mean.
anyone remember the url of the illustrator's site?...

I'm pretty sure those illustrations are available to buy on Gettyimages or another of the main stock libraries, whether or not they paid for 'em - who knows?

i remember seeing a portfolio site of those images, but I can't remember the url. i think it was featured in comm arts mag a while back.

ya stealing graphics is just so wrong - on another note - does anyone know a good mp3 p2p program? - i need new tunes for my site - also any PS2 modding info would be great as well - thanks

I like seeing graphics get 'ripped off'.
when the net started getting fancy back in like '96, you'd take any image you wanted with impunity. Some site had a cool animated gif of a letter closing and going into a mailbox... "well shit, there's my new contact link!"
The web started because of ripped off shit (even the porn was scanned from magazines originally), let's not forget our roots.

i ripped off that barbwire line graphic once. its not something im proud of.
thats not to say i feel shame for ripping the graphic off, just for actually thinking it looked cool.
