For months, every afternoon on CNN there's a show called Showdown Iraq. It's just basically an hour filled with people speculating and fanning the winds of war. Experts and commentaries saying how evil Sadam is and how much weapons the US has...
This is like kids starting shit in a school yard. CNN really gets off on war don't they?

"The editorial went on to say the United States was irritated at having to shift its focus toward North Korea while it planned a war in Iraq.

what a joke.
of course nothing is said about the sanctions that have been imposed on north korea effectivly limiting their supply of fuel oil, while the north, following an agreement with the united states has mothballed its plutonium based power plant in exchange for two US 'light water' plants which are years behind schedule.
under that agreement, the US pledged to provide NK with fuel oil until the two reactors were ready and installed... Now they've cut off their oil???
This may be an over simplistic explaination, but by the US cutting off their power supply, they're forcing the north to restart it's plutonium reactor, which when spun correctly, can look like a prelude to nuclear arms production.
*hates CNN*

I had my previous username banned for drunk-bumping a bunch of threads a few years ago... I assume ye olde NT gods aren't paying much attention anymore, but tread carefully.
