Yeah, it's truly weird.
Saved the files for web in PS CS1
in SRGB colorspace as CC9966. Using the digital colormeter in OSX utilites, it reads the same in as background CC9966 in earlier version of safari and latest firefox. But in later version of safari, it reads color as differnt (CF9F59 on jpegs , CC9966 background.)
My theory is that black is black, and white is white on all browsers, so he needs to pick something like that so it can be consistent and EASY on me (as I am doing this as a favor, but is turning into a real headache. lol)I'll try the png or gif test, but my theory is it won't work either.
