Not trying to harp on your Chip :)

I'm just curious. Why a blog for that? I've seen a few portfolios lately as blogs, with commenting available.

    I'm interested in two things.
    1) Did you choose a blog because archiving, and managing content was built in? (A CMS system, essentially, without needing to "build" the site)
    2) Did the ability for viewers to comment on your work have anything to do with it? I only ask this because we are all very used to web based portfolios without comments. Think about threadless - seeing other people's comments does, IMO, have an affect on your like/dislike of a submission (subconsciously, I think).
I guess the first thought that hit me was that when your work is done, you're proud of it, and it's posted to a site, that's it.
But when people can comment on it, might that have an affect on the designer, positive or negative, that sort of changes the balance of being sure of your work?

Just curious about your choice, that's all. :)
My only suggestion would be to make the full images links to the actual site, or move the "link to site" link above the description and make it a little more pronounced below the picture. It kind of seems like an afterthought with it at the bottom, when the most advantageous thing would be to take us to the actual site or full size image.
