What has not been said is how conveniently this came to a head last week. The Senate document came out of the blue, Galloway certainly didn't know it was coming. All just 2 weeks after snatching a parliamentary seat from his former employer and neue arch-enemy Tony Blair. An underhand attempt to muddy his name and shatter his credibility?
I knew the moment they accepted his ultimatum to come to Washington that they didn't know what they were in for. The Senate even tried to delay the hearing to prepare and familiarise themselves with the details of their own report!
Give George a soapbox and there's no way he'll pass up such an opportunity, with such an important captive audience, to tell you how it is.
